The Vixul Process

Vixul is the only accelerator designed specifically for early-stage tech services companies. Unlike product companies the biggest risk to tech services companies is not finding PMF. Rather unlike product comnpanies that are able to get significant resources, mentorship, and advice unlocked through investment if they can show traction, tech services founders learn how to be business owners through trial and error. Vixul aims to create the same ecosystem for tech services founders as are available to product companies.

To achieve our mission we are providing free resources, a 90-day bootcamp, and one-on-one guidance with the founder of a tech services company.

The Vixul Story

In 2013, we founded a Cloud & DevOps services company called Flux7 that specialized in a technology platform just starting to take off at the time: AWS.

We did not know how to do business, sales, or the inner workings of typical IT organizations.

But we brought an eagerness to learn, tenacity, and ambition to our work - and ended up being able to redefine our space. Repeatedly winning awards bestowed by entities such as Tech Target and AWS CLT, we were regularly sought out by Fortune100 companies.

Then, in 2019, Flux7 was acquired by NTT Data.

Over the next two years, as the world coped with a pandemic, we did our own soul-searching. We looked back at our Flux7 days and asked ourselves what we had done right and what we had done wrong. What did we realize too late at the cost of time and money? How could we have capitalized on more on our opportunities?

Vixul was born out of this soul-searching.

With Vixul, we're building the platform and the resources we wish we had in retrospect or that we wish we had gained sooner to save other founders from the same pitfalls.
